The Old Stables/Die Stalle Hunter’s Camp

Old Horse Stables were converted into basic accommodation for hunters who want a level of comfort but with fewer frills. The Old Stables front onto a large river bed and is surrounded by overhanging Acacia trees which provide both welcome shade and a wind barrier.

Spykerfontein Farmhouse

Spykerfontein is a Karoo-oasis: tall trees with spreading branches, palm trees and olives, bright bougainvilleas, lush lawns, roses and fruit trees, fever trees and Acacias, and a shady pergola hanging heavy with old-fashioned table grape vines. Sit in the sun on the traditional Karoo-stoep, curl up with a book and drink tea, or just watch the world stand still.

Lemoenrietfontein Homestead

What sets this house apart is not only its charm and superior level of comfort, but its position, orientation and the magnificent views from the truly baronial proportions of its verandah, curtained in glass. Lemoenrietfontein is set in amongst a 300-tree olive grove which produces magnificent, nutty oil: an orchard where fruit trees hang heavy in season, green lawns, tall trees and a pond which floats an assortment of ducks and geese and turkeys.
